How HOKORA works
A hokora is a small roadside shrine that houses a spirit. Here, each spirit is a numbered 3D figure, and your vault is a row of lit glass cases.
From choosing to collecting
- Choose. Each drop has six original spirits. You pick the figure and the edition: Open, Limited (500 per figure), Moonlit (20 per figure) or Grail (10 per figure), and you see them in their finish before you pay. The scene inside the case (sky, lantern light, patterns) is the surprise: it is revealed when you open the case, every option is equally likely, and it is never sold as a rarity trait.
- Mint. You pay the edition price plus a small network fee from your own wallet on Base. HOKORA never holds your funds. Serials go in mint order: if someone else's mint lands first, you get the next number.
- Collect. The figure appears in your vault, a page anyone can visit at your wallet address. Pin your favourites, name your vault, and share the link.
- Resell, if you choose. Figures are standard ERC-721 tokens, so you can list them on open marketplaces like OpenSea or Magic Eden. HOKORA does not run a marketplace. A 7.5% creator royalty is set on resales, though not every marketplace honours it.
What you are buying
A digital collectible: a numbered token on Base that points to a 3D figure and its certificate of provenance. It is not an investment and has no guaranteed value. Buy a figure because you like it.
The spirits
Every character is our own design, drawn from public-domain Japanese folklore such as kitsune, tengu and kappa. We never use characters from anime or games. Read how we keep designs original.
